beeandpuppycat:

My Girlfriend and I cosplayed as the Space Outlaw and Space Princess for bee and Puppycat this year at Otakon. Everything on the jacket was Handsewn and pants were pressed. Alot of work but completely worth it!

Ah look it’s me! :P

One of my 3 Otakon 2014 outfits, a cosplay with my bf. We only wore the outfits for about a hour or two because they were insanely hot with the morphsuits walking around Otakon!

Unfinished, but still, I did make the dress from scratch with my own pattern. Just wish I could have ironed it better lol. Next time I’ll use a more cooperative fabric (this one wrinkled ridiculously!) aaaaand actually finish (it’s missing the sleeves and I didn’t do the tips of my hair blue because I didn’t want blue all over my dress). XD

I have more of these plushies in my shop:
http://soapybacon.storenvy.com/

Have an embroidery machine & want to make your own?
I have the pattern in my other shop:
http://soapybacon.etsy.com

Due to recent events I am no longer accepting any custom orders for embroidered patches.

Most companies require you to pay $50+ just for digitizing the design, not even doing the actual embroidery. They also require minimum orders.

I am a person. Not a company. I cannot do everything that companies can. I have a life. I have processing time for a reason. Custom orders take longer than normal orders.

I hope you all can understand.

Update: to answer the many questions about the “feel” of the airbrushed areas, mostly it is still nice, smooth and soft. The extremely light blue/cyan extremities required additional layers so are slightly rougher to touch, but still soft :D (I reckon I could create the same effect with less layers next time ^^).
OMG! AT LOOOOOOOOOONG LAST! Novalis is FINALLY COMPLETE! ^^
Novalis is the “Design-An-OC-For-Me” contest winner :iconlanmana:’s prize! ;)
He’s such an epic OC and I’m so happy and honoured I got to plush him for :iconlanmana:. He was very airbrush intensive and taught me a lot about airbrushing light colours on dark fabrics. I used shannon midnight blue for his hair and shannon navy for his body - so everything else you see on him has been airbrushed on. I would also like to credit my wonderful husband who helped me develop the technique of airbrushing light on dark/support/clean up process etc
His armour is fully removable via snap fasteners :)
Novalis was definitely a lot of work, but he was sooooo worth it! He’s such an eye candy to look at ^.^ and I’ve learnt so much from working on him.
Thank you :iconlanmana: for allowing me to plush your beautiful OC, and I hope you like him as much as I do!! (I love him).
